In this role you are a key member of the Human Resources team. You will manage strategic and tactical HR activities.

You will Plan implement and evaluate employee relations, HR policies, programs and practices.

Responsibilities:

• You will develop, engage, motivate and retain personnel
• You will provide guidance and recommendations to business managers on matters that may impact people
• You will serve as an advocate and counsel associates
• You will drive initiatives to support site climate and culture.
• You will implement HR policies to comply with regulations and consistent to best practices
• You will enter information in the HRIS system
• You will administer compensation and benefit systems, processes and communications.
• You will Ensure management is trained in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment
• You will conduct trainings as necessary

Requirements:

• You have at least 3 years of experience within HR with exposure to all major functional areas.
• You have a post secondary Bachelor degree in HR (or related field) or at least 5 years of HR experience.
• You have demonstrable experience with HR Metrics
• You have a knowledge of HR systems and databases
• You have excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills, written and verbal skills
• You have the competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
• You have an in-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
• You have the ability to operate with a strong sense of urgency
• You have a clear criminal record search.
