CONTRACTOR SAFETY & COMPLIANCE

52 week contract role

$21.00/HOUR

MON-FRI:  7:30AM – 4:00PM

MISSISSAUGA, ON

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

•        Maintain safety and compliance database

•        Maintain all contractor/driver accident/incident files

•        Coordinate log retention and audit

•        Coordinate administration of safety-related online courses

•        Assist Operations with contractor communications

•        Provide support to all applicable team members

•        Code and process invoices for fleet maintenance and other services

•        Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures

·       Assist with the administration of the Electronic Logging Device (ELD) program by responding to contractor/driver questions and concerns

·       Administer the regulatory and incentive programs through monthly reporting Perform other duties as required

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

·       High School Diploma required

·       Two (2) years administrative experience, required and One (1) year safety & compliance experience in transportation, preferred

·       Demonstrated experience and ability to lead organizational and cross-sector teams

·       Valid driver’s license as driving to permit office will be required

·       Knowledge of Federal and Provincial Governmental Transportation Regulations

·       Excellent organizational, interpersonal skills

·       Strong verbal and written skills

·       Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Internet and Outlook)

·       Flexibility and adaptability to changing work environment
